What you can’t see in the video is how hard it was for the little tyred bikes to deal with the conditions. I was running my tyres (26”*2.35) at about 25psi to allow me to at least get through the semi-soft sand, but the rocky outcrops became a major stress as I could feel my rims copping it everytime.
So, what’s the best thing to do on a customers new and ridiculously expensive bike, that’s right , get it sideways…
