LYCANTHROPHY
Extreme face-melting noise is made by the Czech Republic grindcore band Lycanthrophy who have been around since 1998. Whilst the instruments are pounded at unbelievable speeds, the high pitched screeches make your blood curdle. Definitely for those that love it fast and loud.

Conquest For Death (by .:Nicolas:.)
I still can’t work out why these guys aren’t on my dash daily. These guys not only blast some of the best fastcore in the world, but are dedicated to touring and playing in all those places other bands claim are too off the beaten track or awkward to play in. If they ever play in your town, or a town within a few hours drive, or maybe in a neighbouring country, go see them, their live show is one of the best in the world right now.
Propagandhi: Technocracy: Split with Sacrifice: 2010
If you haven’t heard this, Propagandhi and Sacrifice got together last year to release a tribute to the crossover-thrash era (Sacrifice recorded a cover of Rush’s “Anthem”). Although it was released in December 2010 I’m putting it in my ‘Best Records of 2011’ list. Posting it again because I’m eating dinner at 9pm, surfing the interwebs and listening to old school speed metal and punk.

Conquest For Death: Many Nations, One Underground
CFD are seriously one of the hardest working bands in hardcore today. Criminally underated awesome fastcore / thrashcore, featuring (not sure who is and isn’t in the band right now) ex-memebrs of All You Can Eat, Pisschrist and fuckloads of other amazing bands. Oh, and ex-World Air Guitar Champion, Hot Lixx Hulahan.
